What are the registration hours?

Registration hours are subject to change:
Wednesday, August 30th: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, August 31st: 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Friday, Sept 1st : 8:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

How do I contact other CLAB 2017 registrants?

You are able to send messages to other registrants through the CLAB2017 mobile app. You will need to be registered in order to access the mobile app. The CLAB2017 Mobile app will be available two weeks prior to the conference.

Can I cancel my registration?

Refunds requested in writing before May 30, 2017 will be charged a cancellation fee of $250. After May 30, 2017 no refunds will be allowed however the registration is transferrable. (See below Transfer of Registration).

Can I transfer my registration?

The registration may be transferred at no charge. This must be done in writing to clab@fiba.net No later than 2 days prior to the Conference.

Do I receive a receipt after registering to the conference?

Once your registration is submitted, you should receive confirmation via e-mail containing your registration information. If you do not receive your e-mail confirmation or you are experiencing problems submitting your registration, please contact Andrea Beilmann 305-539-3796 or the clab@fiba.net  Please do not submit your registration more than once.

Where can I find the payment details to make a bank transfer?

In the confirmation email after you successfully register to the conference. Please contact FIBA to clab@fiba.net if you need further information

Can I pay in another currency?

All payments must be received in US Dollars

What are the Visa requirements?

If you are not a U.S. Resident, please consult with the United States Embassies and Consulates for visa requirements. To obtain a visa, contact the United States embassy or consulate nearest to you. Hotel Reservations

How do I make the hotel reservation?

Hotel reservations are done directly with the hotel. Click here for hotel reservation information and to book your room at The Intercontinental Hotel Downtown Miami.

Is there a special rate for conference participants?

Yes.

Is there a special rate for valet parking?

Yes, daily valet parking fee is $17.00

Overnight parking is $35.00

Can I book my hotel if I have not confirmed my flights yet?

We recommend you book your hotel as soon as possible. The event organizers have secure a limited number of rooms with special rates.

I’m a late departure/Early Arrival, do I need to book the night of departure/arrival to guarantee late check out or early check in?

Please note that the standard check-out time is 12:00 noon. To guarantee a late check-out (after 12:00), please ensure when booking that you also reserve the night of your departure and indicate your late check-out request during the online booking process. If you have not arranged this and wish to do so, please contact the Intercontinental Hotel Registration Office. Please note it is at the hotel’s discretion to accommodate early check-in or late check-out request.

Exhibitor Questions

Are there exhibit hall only or partial access badges?

No. We do not offer any exhibit hall only or partial attendance rates. All individuals who will be attending the CLAB Conference must be registered, including booth staff, public relations support staff, employees of your organization and any individuals whom you are meeting onsite at CLAB Conference.

What does my registration include?

Registration includes access to sessions, exhibit hall, Continental Breakfast, Lunch and receptions.

Where is the exhibit hall located?

The exhibit hall will be located in the Mezzanine on Level 2 of the Intercontinental Hotel.

When is the exhibit hall open?

Exhibit Hall hours are subject to change

Wednesday, August 30th: 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

Where can I order services and materials for my booth?

EXPO is the official booth contractor. Please contact EXPO Convention Contractors for extra furniture, carpet, labor and shipping.

What’s included in my booth space?

When will Booths and Meeting Rooms be available for set up?

Booths, Meeting Rooms will not be accessible for set up until August 29th, 2017 AFTER 1:00PM

I am interested in having a booth custom built or renting a booth, who should I contact?

What can I hand-carry into the exhibit hall?

As an exhibitor you may “hand carry” material. Hand carry is defined as small items such as small packages or cartons that an exhibitor is able to carry. Any mechanical assistance is limited to a small dolly. The assistance of any motorized devise or pallet jack is not permitted. Exhibitors must use the main entrance of the facility.

If your freight is being delivered by a carrier, you must use EXPO Convention Contractor to unload the freight and transport to your booth. You will also be charged a material handling fee. For more information see Exhibitor and Special Handling Services Contractor Information within the Exhibitor Kit.

Where should I ship my materials?

We recommend shipping in advance to EXPO CONTRACTOR Warehouse. Items must be delivered to the warehouse no later than February 27??, 2017. Please refer to the exhibitor kit for additional information.

Can I bring in my own food and beverage for my booth?

No, The Intercontinental Hotel is the exclusive provider of all food and beverage in the exhibit hall. All food and beverage must be ordered through The Intercontinental Hotel. Any questions please contact Adriana Acosta aacosta@fiba.net

Will there be wifi in the exhibit hall?

Yes, there will be wifi in the exhibit hall. However, we recommend ordering a dedicated network for your booth if you require a more reliable connection. Internet services can be ordered through PSAVUnder no circumstances should you set up separate WI-FI routers, MI-FIs or hotspots using the CLAB Conference network, as it will interfere with other exhibitors’ and attendees’ ability to connect.

What are the height limits for my booth?

8’x10′ booths have a recommended maximum back wall height limitation of 8 feet high.

If your booth does not meet these height restrictions, you must submit a rendering or picture of your booth, with dimensions to Adriana Acosta aacosta@fiba.netfor approval by September 30th.

Can I distribute materials outside of my booth?

No, distribution of materials outside of your booth is prohibited including leaving material on tables or handing out brochures in the aisles or entrances of the show.
